If you have not heard, there is a massive recall of the 1998-2005 (and some 2006) Suzuki cruisers (VL1500 and C90/T Boulevard Models). This encompasses approx. 38,000 bikes. The recall is for a suspected fuel leak problem resulting from stress fractures to the front mounting point of the fuel tank. For more information [click here].

A lot of Ducati dealers have reputations for being snobby and way too full of themselves. Well, some really cool people have opened a Ducati, Triumph, Yamaha dealership in Marin. In just 3 years, Hattar has already become the #1 ranked Ducati dealer in the U.S. Find out how, starting on page 10 of our current issue.

Hey! Why not drop in on the gang at Hattar and get your own copy of UrbanMoto?

ASBN's Annual Live Daytona 200 Gathering
(San Leandro) Join in the American Sportbike Night crew for their annual LIVE DAYTONA gathering on Saturday, March 11 at the East Bay's premier sports bar - Ricky's!

No cover, lots of big screens and a truly rabid race crowd will ensure this is the best venue in the Bay Area to watch Miguel Duhamel challenge the grid for what may be his 6th Daytona win!

Four hot Buell dealer teams are entered in this year's Daytona 200. Buell is hoping to put an American-made motorcycle atop the Daytona 200 podium for the first time since Cal Rayborn won on a Harley-Davidson in 1969!

Perhaps as surprising as Buell's entry in this year's 200 is the fact that former MotoGP star Jeremy McWilliams is slated to ride with the Warr's London Harley-Davidson / Buell of London team. The 41-year-old Irishman is one of the biggest international riders to compete at Daytona for a number of years and interest is high among American racing fans to watch such a highly respected rider such as McWilliams racing against many of the leading AMA superstars.

Buell's other big name rider is former AMA Supersport and reigning Canadian Pro 600 Sport Bike champion Steve Crevier. He will ride a Deeley Harley-Davidson / Buell Canada of Vancouver entry. Floridian Mike Ciccotto will race the 200 on a Hal's Harley-Davidson / Buell. 2005 BMW Motorrad Power Cup rider Rico Penzkofer will ride for Buell Hannover of Hannover, Germany. [Details]

Live AMA racing coverage begins 8am with Superbike; continues with Thursday's taped Flat Track event; and concludes with 10:30am start of the 65th running of the Daytona 200 F/X race. Ricky's full and quite excellent breakfast menu will be served, with a full array of lunch items available in time for the main event!

A post-race "twisties ride" will depart Ricky's at about 1pm - destination TBD by participants. [Directions]
